Jan McCarthy

Jan McCarthy is the Market Director/Franchise Owner for Ladies Who Launch in Los Angeles & Orange County, CA and she is very excited to be a part of such a dynamic organization. She is passionate about helping women find support, inspiration, resources and knowledge as they embark on the launch of their dream or the growth of their business.
Jan earned her BS in Marketing from the Business School at the University of Colorado. Inspired by a heritage that includes a long line of entrepreneurs, inventors and innovators, including a great, great grandmother that was the first woman doctor in Georgia, Jan started on an entrepreneurial path at an early age. She has launched several start-ups from real estate to interior design and has held upper management positions in the corporate environment, broadening her knowledge and expertise in sales, marketing and business practices. She also stays involved in the family businesses she helped develop and co-owns with her husband.
In her latest endeavor, Jan has partnered with her sister Lisa Hart, to launch Back 2 Our Roots, incorporating business fundamentals with ongoing innovations in Marketing, Sales and Business practices. They offer coaching, webinars, ebooks and workshops.
Jan is an innovative leader and savvy businesswoman. She maximizes her strengths as a strategist, connector, and motivator with every project she undertakes. She is a sought after speaker and writes on entrepreneurship for the Examiner.com Married, with two grown daughters, Jan enjoys culture and art, dining out, planning social activities, and spending time with her family and friends. She volunteers for Jr. Achievement and several non-profits. Embracing a dual lifestyle, Jan commutes between her urban loft in downtown LA and her ranch in Boulder, CO.
